Nicola Wilkes Owner

It was working for Birds Eye Walls as a Supply Chain Manager for 10 years that gave Nicola her first interest in food. Since taking redundancy in 2008, Nicola has expanded her knowledge in food, particularly baking, by attending cookery courses. Always having had the desire to manage her own business, Nicola relocated along with her Husband Adam and children George (5 years old) and Martha (2 years old) to Dorset where they bought Abbots Tearoom in October 2010.

Adam Wilkes Owner

Adam also has an interest in food, and currently works full time for a foods importer – bringing authentic foods into the UK. Although based at home in Cerne Abbas, Adam spends a large proportion of his week travelling around the Country and to his Head Office which is in London. However, Adam can often be found in the tearooms at the weekends.

Caroline Lock

Caroline has been at Abbots for 10 years and has seen Abbots change hands 3 times. She works part-time on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Wendy Oakes

Wendy has been at Abbots for 7 years and works part time at weekends.
